The Ford Bronco is the undisputed king of the offroad. Boasting the best of Ford’s trademark toughness with the maker's ironclad reliability, the Bronco has been a favorite of Ford loyalists since its return in 2021. Making a name for itself in both its fun having capabilities as well as its versatility with the various trims it has on offer, the Bronco has long been an example of when automakers revive a beloved nameplate and do it justice.

Wondering if the Bronco is the SUV for you? In this article, we’ll go over all of the new features of the 2025 Ford Bronco lineup, keeping you posted on everything you can expect from the new Bronco this year.

Key Takeaways

2025 Ford Bronco Off-Roading
  • The base trim returns after a year away in 2025, being available in a 2 or 4 door configuration.
  • The Black Diamond, Wildtrak, and Everglades are axed for 2025.
  • A new trim, the Stroppe Special Edition, is being offered for this year.

Will there be any changes to the 2025 Ford Bronco?

2025 Ford Bronco Exterior

Yes! There’s quite a bit to be excited about on the 2025 Bronco. For 2025, Kelley Blue Book reports that we can expect to see a rearranging of the Bronco’s offerings for the new model year.

For starters, the Base trim is returning after being absent from 2024. It’ll be available in either a 2-door or 4-door configuration, and is sure to be a welcome return for families that are budget conscious. Additionally, the Bronco Stroppe Special Edition is debuting for 2025, a car that KBB reports is a nod to the original Baja Bronco.

You can expect it to carry a mix of appearance and performance features, with the squared-off fenders, orange badging, and 17 inch rims giving the trim its looks, and heavy duty performance additions like the removal of the stabilizer bar, the addition of Ford’s High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension 3.0 HOSS 3.0, as well as 35-inch Goodyear tires giving this trim some killer performance to match the new look.

As for what’s being removed, the Black Diamond, Wildtrak, and Everglades trims are being cut, though the Stroppe is reportedly a successor to the Wildtrak, and reading off those stats, it’s safe to say that the new Stroppe is a worthy successor indeed. Also considering the addition of the Free Wheeling trim brings the total list of trims to eight for 2025.

What colors will the 2025 Bronco come in?

2025 Ford Bronco Interior

For 2025, Ford reports that the Bronco will come in a range of seven exterior trims, with 3 being available for no additional cost, and some flashier options being included at a price.

The colors, listed with the free options first, are listed below.

  • Shadow Black
  • Carbonized Gray Metallic
  • Oxford White
  • Velocity Blue Metallic - Extra Cost Color
  • Eruption Green Metallic - Extra Cost Color
  • Azure Gray Metallic - Extra Cost Color
  • Ruby Red Metallic - Extra Cost Color
  • Desert Sand - Extra Cost Color

What are the trims for the 2025 Bronco?

As mentioned earlier, there will be a total of eight trims for 2025. Car and Driver reports that you can expect the newly re-added base trim to start at $39,890, with the new Stroppe Edition topping the list with an asking price of $77,530. Adding in the rest of the trims, our list looks like:

  • Base - $39,890
  • Big Bend - $42,265
  • Free Wheeling - $44,760
  • Black Diamond - $46,760
  • Outer Banks - $49,835
  • Heritage Edition - $51,370
  • Badlands - $51,990
  • Stroppe Edition - $77,530

Of these, it's the Black Diamond four door trim they recommend. They like the standard features, including Ford’s G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Terrain) driving modes, massive 32-inch tires, and a hefty list of additional factory options. We’re inclined to agree, but it is worth noting that any Bronco is all but guaranteed to be a joy to own, so there’s certainly no “wrong” options here.

Summary

The Bronco is an amazing SUV - providing buyers with a rugged off-roader that doesn’t necessarily break the bank, but provides options in spades for those with extra cash to spend on their new fun haver.
