The 2019 Ford F-150 from Jarrett-Gordon Ford in Winter Haven, FL - serving Lakeland, Auburndale, Bartow, Haines City, and Lake Wales - is the full-size pickup that goes where the other guys can't. Only this truck has a high-strength, military-grade, aluminum-alloy body, and its fully-boxed frame is stronger and more rigid yet lighter than previous version. The 2019 Ford F-150 is also blazing a trail when it comes to towing and payload capacities. The 3.0L Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel produces 250 hp and 440 lb.-ft. of torque and has a best-in-class tow max of 11,400 pounds.1 However, the 3.5L EcoBoost® twin-turbo V6 generates 345 hp and 470 lb.-ft. of torque and has a best-in-class conventional tow rating of 13,200 pounds.1 There are three other powerful engines as well - including the standard 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 engine and the available 2.7L EcoBoost® twin-turbo V6 and 5.0L V8 engine. The standard rear vision camera gives you peace of mind when backing up, but up the ante on reversing with a trailer in tow by adding the Pro Trailer Backup Assist™.2 This brand-new, class-exclusive feature allows you to control which way your trailer is going just by turning a knob on the console.

Features

DESIGN

HIGH-STRENGTH, MILITARY-GRADE, ALUMINUM-ALLOY BODY

The Ford F-150 has the only high-strength, military-grade, aluminum-alloy body in its class.[1] A heat-treating process is used to harden the aluminum alloy. Working with aluminum alloy allows an increase in gauge (or thickness) where needed to achieve strength without increasing weight. The lighter aluminum-alloy body and bed produce a higher power-to-weight ratio - plus maximum payload and tow ratings that are best in class.[1] Yet another benefit - resistance to dents.

PERFORMANCE

A TOUGH PERFORMANCE TO FOLLOW

The competition isn't catching up to the Ford F-150 anytime soon - and may never. That's because the F-150 sets the high standards for light-duty full-size pickups with its lightweight, high-strength military-grade, aluminum-alloy body and bed. This is not aluminum in the household sense, but heat-treated and hardened aluminum alloy - the same high-grade 6000 series used in military and industrial applications. The results? Best-in-class payload and towing.[2] A mighty hard performance to follow.

SAFETY

PRE-COLLISION ASSIST AND LANE-KEEPING SYSTEM

The Ford F-150 offers technologies to assist you in unexpected situations: 1. Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking[3] scans the road ahead. When a potential collision is detected, you get a visual warning on the windshield as well as an audible alert. And the brakes precharge and increase sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you brake. If corrective action is not taken and a collision becomes imminent, the brakes can apply automatically. 2. Lane-Keeping System[4] vibrates the steering wheel or gives torque sensations, or both if you choose, when you drift too close to a lane marker.

TECHNOLOGY

TECHNOLOGY FOR OFF-ROAD HANDLING

The F-150 Raptor employs advanced technology to help provide the degree of control required for extreme off-road travel. Its Terrain Management System™ offers seven selectable modes (Normal, Sport, Slippery, Tow/Haul, Deep Snow/Sand, Baja, and Rock Crawl). And now, the Raptor adds new Trail Control™ to its already impressive suite of tech features. Trail Control is a cruise control system for off-road terrain. You set the speed from 1 to 20 mph and the system manages acceleration and braking, sending torque and stopping force to individual wheels as needed, so you can focus on steering over the demanding terrain.

[3]Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver's attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle. While Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking may be especially helpful in unexpected situations, it does not replace the driver and has limitations, including nighttime, low and harsh lighting conditions, vehicles moving in a different direction and certain weather conditions.
